Quail Hunting at Black Creek

At Black Creek Plantation, you can enjoy bobwhite quail hunting in plantation style and comfort. Whether it is a corporate retreat or a group of old friends, guest will experience fast paced quail hunting over exceptional guides with well trained dogs .

A typical quail hunting day at Black Creek Plantation starts around 8:30 am with a warm-up round of clay targets. Field transportation can  provide relatively close access to most coveys.  However, most hunters prefer to spend the majority of time on foot. After 3 hours of quail hunting, its back to the lodge for a hearty lunch and some hot coffee. After lunch and some time to relax it is back  out for the afternoon hunt at around 2:00 pm until 5:00pm. After the conclusion of the hunt your brids can be cleaned and dressed and packaged in a cooler bags or your own cooler if desired. This normally takes 15-20 min.

In addition to the typical 1/2 and full day hunts, Black Creek plantation offers specials packages for small and larger business that do a lot of quail hunting throughout the season. Also new this year is a package designed for bird dog owners looking for a place to train and hunt their dogs throughout the year.
