Turkey Hunting

 Warning: Turkey hunting can become addictive! If you have never heard the thunderous boom of a turkey gobbling on a spring morning then you are in for a treat. As a member of Black Creek Plantation you can enjoy some of the best turkey hunting in the state. We have guides that are available to take you and your guest or you can call for yourself. Check-in is required prior to the hunt so all hunters have plenty of area to hunt.

Spring gobbler hunting at Black Creek  is from late March to mid May. Hunts begin an hour before daybreak and includes a midday break for lunch. We have had another great year of turkey hunting in 2005. After a slow start everything has heated up towards the end of the season with a number of mature birds being killed. There seems to be a good number of jakes this year which is a good sign for next year. Hope to see you then.
