After the 2007-08 deer season we put out trail cameras to get an idea of the type of bucks that made it through the season. The results speak for themselves. The total number of bucks caught on camera - 12. Out of those 12, 8 should be shooters next year and 3 should be over 135” B&C. We were only able to put out cameras around the lodge. This doesn’t count “The Jackson Place” or “The Bow Club”.

All pictures were taken in Jan of 2008. A number of the bucks had broken tines with means the buck-to-doe ratio is better then I thought.

Nicknamed “Mr. Wide” this should be a great deer next year. He already has the width now and with a little age he should put on the tine length and mass

These pictures were taken across the road from the lodge on 1/22/08. He is a heavy bodied 10 point that should score 135 - 140 B&C. His right main beam is broken off from fighting.

These pictures were taken in the food plot beside the lodge. There were 6 bucks total in this group. Four of them should be shooters next year, with one being an exceptional trophy.
