Georgia Dove Hunting at Black Creek Plantation
Black Creek Plantation will again hold dove hunts throughout the season. With over 70 acres divided between three fields, we will be able to have fresh dove hunts throughout the season. This
year we will be hunting over milo, sunflower, millet, and wheat. The dove fields will be checked by the game warden prior to the hunt to be sure there are no questions or misunderstanding.
All hunting will be from designated stands and there will be a minimum of 1.5 acres per hunter to assure a safe and pleasurable time for all. You are
encouraged to come take a look at the fields prior to the season to get an idea of flight patterns.
Payment for dove hunts are required in advance. Opening day dove shoot starts with a 12:00 noon.
Be at the lodge by 11:30 for stand selection and safety meeting. Come early and shoot a couple of rounds of clays to get warmed up. NO ALCOHOL before or during the dove hunt.
There are overnight accommodations for 8 available at the lodge but these fill up fast so please arrange in advance.
Children under 16 can dove hunt from the same stand as a paying adult for free. Additional late season dove shoots are planned but depend on the amount of dove.
