Deer Hunting at Black Creek

With over 2000 acres and 20 years of quality management, deer hunting at Black Creek Plantation offers the opportunity to harvest the buck of a lifetime. The average buck will gross more than 120 B&C points with our largest buck to date grossing over 155 B&C.

In 2008 Black Creek Plantation implemented a new supplmental feeding program that allows our bucks to maximize their antler development. Feeders throughout the property to allow deer access to high protien pellets throughout the antler growing on a 24/7 basis. . Check out the trail cam pictures of this season’s deer!! We will also be adding trail camera pictures throughout the summer as they become available.

How We Hunt- Deer hunting is done from tree stands (climbers, ladder, tripod)and ground blinds and box stands.  You are also welcome to bring your own stands. We scout each tract for months and place stands where we have seen good bucks and buck sign. With over 20 years hunting this property we have the knowledge to help you come eye-to-eye with a nice buck.  Guides that will show them to the stands and arrange a pickup time based on the hunter’s desire. Guides will also help in setup, tracking, recovery and field dressing of the animals. processing is done through our local USDA inspected butcher or quartering can be done onsite, if desired.

Deer hunting at Black Creek Plantation is offered through 3 and 4-day hunt packages ( limit of 5 groups per year) or through memberships for the hunter looking for year round hunting excitment. Included in our deer hunt packages is the opportunity to take 1 mature buck (4 point on one side and an outside of 14’), 2 does, 2 wild hogs, all meals, lodging, game recovery. The most productive time to get a big buck is during the pre-rut and rut.
